Service Description

I have specialized training in basic and advance foot care, physical assessment, and outreach to specialists when referrals are medically warranted. I am an active member of Lower Mainland Foot Care Association and BCNU. I am Licensed with British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals( BCCNP). My services are available to local Senior Center Foot Clinics, group homes, retirement, long term care facilities,home visits and podiatrists and GP's office by request. I have a strong sense of commitment to the community, with a special interest in the health, wellness and safety of our senior citizens.It is my pleasure and passion to work with our community, seniors and Diabetics to assure that they can walk without pain or risk of infection from thickened, elongated toenails and painful calluses. Their health and their quality of life can be affected by these common Pathologies. It is well documented in medical journals that proper, regular foot care is essential in helping our seniors to maintain mobility, independence and a sense of well-being; and decrease the risk of falling. As a foot care specialist, it is my mission to provide safe,appropriate and beneficial foot care to seniors; while working collaboratively with team members, health care providers and other disciplines.
